Trip to Istanbul: 5th May – 11th May
Monday – Day 1
- Blue Mosque: The day began with a visit to the Sultan Ahmed Mosque, popularly known as the Blue Mosque for its stunning blue tiles adorning the interior walls. This architectural marvel offered a serene atmosphere.
- Aya Sophia (Hagia Sophia): Next, the journey continued to Aya Sophia, a monumental structure that had served as a church, a mosque, and now a museum. Its rich history and magnificent architecture were truly captivating.
- Suleymaniye Mosque: The tour proceeded to the Suleymaniye Mosque, an epitome of Ottoman grandeur. The mosque, designed by the famous architect Mimar Sinan, provided panoramic views of the city from its courtyard.
- Fatih Masjid & Tomb: The afternoon included a visit to the Fatih Mosque and the tomb of Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror, adding a deep historical dimension to the day.
- Dessert at Hafiz Mustafa: The day concluded on a sweet note with a visit to Hafiz Mustafa, renowned for its traditional Turkish desserts like baklava and Turkish delight, providing a delicious end to a culturally rich day.

Tuesday – Day 2
- Outdoor Go Karting: The day started with excitement and adrenaline at an outdoor go-karting track, offering a thrilling experience for adventure enthusiasts.
- Dessert at Viyana Kahvesi Kuledibi: The evening was spent at Viyana Kahvesi Kuledibi, a charming café with stunning views of the iconic Galata Tower, where we enjoyed delectable desserts while soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of Istanbul.

Wednesday – Day 3
- Topkapi Museum: The day started with a visit to the Topkapi Palace Museum, which housed an extensive collection of artifacts, including imperial treasures and relics of significant historical and religious importance.
- Bazaar Challenge: A fun and interactive bazaar challenge split into 2 teams followed, where we navigated through the bustling markets, hunted for several unique items with a budget of 1000Liras, and immersed ourselves in the vibrant local culture.
- Bosphorus Cruise: The highlight of the day was a relaxing cruise along the Bosphorus Strait in the evening, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Istanbul’s skyline. The cruise showcased iconic landmarks, historic mosques, palaces, and waterfront mansions, and provided a unique opportunity to witness the city from both the European and Asian sides.

Thursday – Day 4
- Shooting Range: The day kicked off with a visit to a shooting range, providing a unique and exciting experience for those interested in trying their hand at target shooting.
- Istanbul Aviation Museum: The journey continued to the Istanbul Aviation Museum, which displayed an impressive collection of military and civilian aircraft, helicopters, and historical artifacts related to Turkish aviation history, from the Ottoman era to the present.
- Indoor Go Karting: The day concluded with indoor go-karting, adding another dose of excitement and competition to the itinerary.

Friday – Day 5
- Jumu’ah at Camlica Mosque: The largest mosque in Turkey, Camlica Mosque, was the perfect place to attend the Friday Jumu’ah prayer. The mosque’s grandeur and architectural beauty made it a significant highlight of the trip.
- Horse Riding: The afternoon involved horse riding, providing a peaceful and scenic way to explore the outskirts of the city.
- Shopping in Grand Bazaar: The day ended with a shopping spree in the Grand Bazaar, one of the oldest and largest covered markets in the world. Here, we found a plethora of goods ranging from spices and textiles to jewellery and souvenirs.

Sunday – Day 6
Eyüp Sultan Mosque: The final day began with a visit to the Eyüp Sultan Mosque, a revered site where Abu Ayyub al-Ansari, the standard-bearer and companion of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, is believed to be buried. This visit offered a moment of reflection and spiritual connection.
