From October 6th to October 8th, approximately 30 of us embarked on an exciting residential trip to Mill On The Brue. Our journey was enhanced by the presence of esteemed scholar Mufti Yasir, who hosted an engaging campfire Q&A session, sparking insightful discussions.
Split into three spirited teams – Akhs In Packs, Team Etihad, and Team Musafir – we tackled a range of thrilling activities. From conquering the Assault Course and testing our precision in Air Rifle Shooting to scaling the Gladiator Wall and demonstrating teamwork in Bridge Build, each challenge brought out our competitive spirit.

In addition to the physical activities, we also tested our knowledge with a Quiz, adding an extra layer of excitement to the trip. Our culinary skills were put to the test in a cooking challenge featuring both BBQ and breakfast, with taste, teamwork, and cleanliness as the criteria for judgment.
After intense competition, it was Team Musafir who emerged as the overall winners, celebrating their victory with pride. Individual prizes, containing luxury items, were awarded to one member from each team, chosen by the supervisor for their outstanding contributions.

As we journeyed back home, our plans took an unexpected turn when the minibus broke down. However, our impromptu stopover at Stonehenge turned out to be a memorable experience, as we spent a few hours exploring the historic site until recovery vehicles arrived.
