From November 11th to 13th 2022, our group of approximately 30 young individuals aged from 15-30 embarked on an enriching residential excursion to Mill on the Brue. We had the privilege of being joined by Scholar Mufti Yasir, who led an intriguing campfire Q&A session. we delved into a captivating array of activities designed to challenge and inspire. From the precision of Air Rifle Shooting to the artistry of Archery, the adrenaline-fueled Assault Course, and the swift teamwork demanded by the Gun Run, each activity fostered camaraderie and personal growth.

Divided into three spirited teams – Bearded Bros, Four Lions, and Team Taqwa – we not only tackled these physical challenges head-on but also put our culinary skills to the test in a cooking competition. Judged on criteria encompassing Taste, Teamwork, and Cleanliness, this challenge added a flavourful twist to our adventure, further strengthening the bonds within our groups.
As the competition unfolded, the enthusiasm and determination of each team were palpable, creating an atmosphere charged with excitement and friendly rivalry. Yet, amidst the spirited contests, moments of shared laughter and mutual support were plentiful, highlighting the true essence of our journey together.

In the end, after an exhilarating series of challenges and heartfelt moments, it was the Four Lions who emerged triumphant as the overall winners. Their victory served as a testament to the collective effort and dedication of all participants, leaving us with cherished memories and a sense of accomplishment that would endure long after our time at Mill on the Brue had come to a close.
